Tania Delahunty - CEO

Before moving to my role as CEO for TCAL, I was with Tauranga City Council from 1999 as Financial Controller.

Being actively involved in sport I appreciate the importance of physical activity for our community, both in terms of health and social wellbeing.

I am excited about being part of TCAL and in the relationships and partnerships we have and plan to have, that will deliver fantastic facilities and programmes to our community and visitors to our region.

Terry Harrison - Finance & Business Services Manager

I came to TCAL as the Finance and Business Services Manager after moving to Tauranga from Wellington, where I lived for 15 years. Tauranga offered a great opportunity for a change of lifestyle, especially after getting married and the birth of my son. My role means I can work with an enthusiastic team helping deliver great services to the community whilst implementing our financial objectives.

I enjoy many sports; including badminton, squash and biking to work, as well as being part of CLUBfit, often helping to test some of the new programmes on offer such as the Boot Camps and CLUBfit Blitz.

Steve Edgecombe - Aquatics Network Manager

As the Aquatics Network Manager for TCAL, my role is to ensure our five aquatic facilities are managed efficiently, effectively and safely. I also oversee the asset management of all TCAL facilities, including CLUBfit Baywave and Greerton.

Prior to working for TCAL, I spent my years between northern and southern hemisphere winters working in various management positions within the ski industry. I love the outdoors and am passionate for water sports, especially surfing and kite surfing.

Meeting our customers and seeing the health and social benefits and enjoyment they gain from our facilities is a pleasure and I look forward to bringing more people from all walks of life in to enjoy the benefits we have to offer.

Glenn Quintal - Programme & Services Manager

I excitedly joined TCAL as the Programmes and Services Manager in January 2010 after leaving my role in Sales and Marketing.

I have a background in the education sector, primarily in secondary school physical and health education, which has provided me with the knowledge of how important physical activity is for an individuals' hauora; mental, spiritual, social and physical wellbeing.

I believe our network of facilities provides our community with a great base to engage and actively participate in aquatic and land based activities for all ages, stages, abilities and needs.

Clinton Banks - CLUBfit Manager

Like most New Zealanders, I have enjoyed an energetic lifestyle from an early age. Originating from a farming heritage on the sunny West Coast of the South Island, I developed an affinity with the great Kiwi outdoor lifestyle, encouraged by five other siblings.

For many years I travelled the world playing rugby and experiencing the cultures of many other countries. Now excited to be back in New Zealand and living in Tauranga with my wonderful wife, I am now focused on encouraging the Bay's communities to develop their love for a healthy lifestyle through my role as the Manager of CLUBfit.

Alan Williscroft - Baywave Centre Manager

I have worked in the building industry for over 20 years and lived in five countries from early in my teens, which installed in me a great respect for people and their cultures. After owning businesses in Spain and the UK, my wife and I moved to NZ six years ago, when I decided to leave the building industry and I started as a lifeguard with TCAL in 2009.

I have a passion for the aquatics industry and enjoy seeing our staff work hard and well together and our customers enjoying their time; whether it be family time in the water, squad training, rehabilitation or doing Aqua Zumba or Aqua Jogging.

I enjoy my position of Centre Manager, working closely with staff and clients to run a healthy, clean and pool safe environment.

Working with TCAL and our customers has so far been my most enjoyable experience in NZ to date.

Kent Ravenhill - Greerton Aquatics & Leisure Centre Manager

Originally born in Zimbabwe, I moved to New Zealand 9 years ago. Growing up in Africa I loved the outdoors and anything to do with sport especially swimming, hockey and rugby.

I started as a Lifeguard with TCAL in 2007 and since then I have being promoted to various roles at different facilities within TCAL and have been Manager of the Greerton Aquatic and Leisure Centre for the past 2 years.

Mike Page - Otumoetai Pool Centre Manager

I have worked for TCAL since 2009 and am the Otumoetai Pool Manager, overseeing the daily running and use of the facility.

I have a sport and exercise science degree, which has given me a great insight into the importance and benefits of physical activity to both the individual and community as a whole.  I have also worked within the sales industry which highlighted the importance of customer satisfaction within any business.

I am a keen sportsman participating in various disciplines for both exercise and enjoyment.  My personal passion is surfing, which ties in nicely with the aquatics industry. I hope that my passion for the industry and TCAL is passed onto my staff and therefore to the patrons of this great facility.

Sean Tretheway - Bayswim Manager

I joined the Bayswim team as an instructor in 2009, moving into the role as Bayswim Manager in October 2010.

I have an extensive history in swimming, both as an instructor/coach and a competitive swimmer. After competing at an international level for 6 years, I have been reinvesting into the sporting industry that gave me some much. I would really like to a part of at least one child's swimming career, knowing that one day they will achieve to the level I did.
Swimming is a key life skill and a huge part of the New Zealand lifestyle. To be a non swimmer in New Zealand, means missing out on so much.

Jeffrey Benfell - Go Cafe Manager

Before joining the team here at Baywave I have worked in numerous Hospitality and Customer service roles in various countries. No matter were I have worked it is always the same treat your clients right and they will come back, a smile does not hurt. I have travelled extensively which I have found very rewarding and educational. I now have two children and am looking forward to settling in the Western Bay.
